It is a common belief that human activities are harming the earth whereas others believe that it makes

the Earth a better place to live. I personally believe that human activities have the most negative effects
on the earth such as climate change and resource depletion.

To begin with, today everyone can afford a car that emits carbon dioxide which is really treacherous for
our environment. For instance, one study, done at warmer temperatures, found typical increases of 20
degrees Fahrenheit above the ambient temperature in just 10 minutes, and 33 degrees in 20 minutes.
Due to the excessive carbon dioxide, temperature of the earth is increasing day by day. As result,
temperature is rising, glaciers are melting and the atmosphere is contaminated.

Secondly, nowadays the population is increasing rapidly causing overconsumption and deforestation.
People are wasting natural resources such as wood because they are logging forests to use wood as fuel
or building material. For example, due to deforestation, the weather gets disturbed and some species
get extinct because their habbits have got destroyed. According to the NewYorkTimes, 80% of the panda
species get extinct due to deforestation. Deforestation and overconsumption are destructive to the
environment, because this factors leads to fauna and flora extinction.

To sum up, I think that human activities overwight negative effects on the environment such as
deforestation, air and water pollution. Some natural resources are nearly to extinction.
