Good morning, everyone. Today, I will take you to two famous festivals in the world. Firstly, let’s visit
Rio De Janeiro, Brazil, to join one of the most colourful festivals: Carnival, C-A-R-N-I-V-A-L. this is the
biggest one in Brazil. In the festival, people wear different colourful costumes and masks. They
sometimes draw on their face themselves. The streets are crowded with people. They dance and make a
parade around the city. Once you visit Brazil, make sure you won’t miss the Carnival festival because it
is the most famous Carnival in the world.
Goodbye Brazil, we will move to Spain, where there is a festival named Tomatina or Tomato Battle. As
we can see from the name, in the festival, people throw tomatoes at others. They take tomatoes from
lorries and trucks on the side of the street; or people can bring their own tomatoes. To join this festival,
people need to soften their tomatoes in order not to hurt anybody.
