What is the importance of risk management in hospitality industry.

- Hospitality industry is known focuses more on social activities that is why risk
management is very important. Understanding this is essential for implementation of
safety codes in hazardous areas to avoid risk of injury. Businesses in the same
industry also faces a large level of incident/accident risk and to reduce this, there are
some risk management standards that need to meet under different government
offices.
- Having an effective risk management also prevents the industry from potential losses,
and provides safe environment for customers/tourist and employees. It also helps
identifies and assess threats to the organization’s capital and earnings which make it
controllable and less risky.
