Someone who is at ease with himself and others is going to be higher status than someone
who is constantly obsessed with being the alpha male of the group, trying to dominate
every conversation and interaction to ensure his place in the hierarchy.

Sorry for the long answer but this is a common mistake men make. Men have become
obsessed with the thought that having money, can compensate for a lack of other
important qualities that women find attractive in a man.

I can tell you that my wife put me through the ringer when we started dating. My money
helped but it definitely didn’t close the deal. Social capital, status and value means different
things to everyone. In my case, my wife didn’t care and she wasn’t impressed. My true value
comes from me being my authentic self regardless of my financial status. I truly believe
women value authenticity above superficialities.
The Viking society was non-Christian. But the old Norse religion of the Vikings goes back to

almost 500 years BC. So the Viking society was deep-rooted in its religion. In short

this Norse and Germanic religion was a warrior and ruler religion (Odin and Thor and

a lot of other deities, males and females). The virtues of the religion were courage,

trustworthiness (lying and cheating were the most vile and evil characteristics a

person could have, deserving nothing but death). In society a person’s clan/family

was the person’s basic foundation in life. And if a person was mocked, or killed, the

clan of this person was obliged to kill back in the killer’s clan. If not, the clan would

lose its honour, be very dishonoured in the Viking society. A society in which honour

counted more than anything. The clan’s honour!
