Step 1 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will watch three instructional


videos on standard form, expanded form, and comparing whole numbers on the Khan
Academy App.

Step 2 Content-Based or Skill-Based App: Students will use the IXL app on their
personal devices to answer problems on comparing values and writing in the two
mathematic forms. Students will be virtually rewarded upon successful completion of
the activity.

Step 3 Creation-Based (Learning Artifact) or Skill-Based App (Screenshot of


Progress): Students will use the Padlet App to upload 1) one number in its standard
form and 2) two numbers of comparable values. Students will then reply to two other
classmates responding to step 1 in expanded form AND determining the proper symbol
(<,>,=) to compare the two values in step 2. Teachers will login the Padlet page in order
to access progress of students for a grade.
