Abstract

This study aims to investigate the influence of bullying on

the self-esteem of Gr11 STEM students in Filamer Christian

University Accordingly, 383 Gr11 STEM students are currently

studying at Filamer Christian University for the academic year of

2019-2020 and only 198 students were randomly chosen to be the

respondents of this research, likewise this done by their

response given to a questionnaire made and adapted by the

researcher to measure the effects of bullying on the self-esteem

of Gr11 STEM Students of Filamer Christian University, after

distributing the questionnaires this were then tallied and

encoded for the statistician to calculate the data gathered,

after calculation of data it was then subjected to be rated.

After rating there were three major findings in this study.

(1)There little of no relationship between the self-esteem of

gr11 STEM student and bullying. (2) The self-Esteem of Gr11 STEM

students was still moderate which means average even though they

are being bullied. (3) Gr11 STEM students show that there are
other variables that affect the Self-Esteem of the Gr11 STEM

students like family background, Physical appearance, etc.
