I am writing to you to express my interest in the post Designated Agent that has arisen
in your organisation. I have a BSc Honours degree in Sociology from the University of
Zimbabwe. I am confident in my ability to meet your expectations as I am able to
interact with most people and have exceptional communication skills.

I have been a Designated Agent at the National Employment Council for the Transport
Operating Industry for the past ten years. I am also an Arbitrator and have been so for
the past six years. I am thus competent in a range of duties that fall upon a Designated
Agent that include collecting council dues, advising employees and employers
onemployment matters and on conciliation and arbitration.
