A voltage supply of 24 V DC for the intemal supply is needed to power a suitable indicator device, for example, lamp, LED, or computer function. 5, Indication of the 24 V DC supply is obtained by connecting 24 V DC to ter- mminals 15 and 16 on SKS. The current Valve position can be seen on the display (4) The valve is controlled manually or automaticaly using a signal from the controller or computer. 3.2.1. Manual control 41. Set the Man./Auto switch (8) on the front panel to Man. 2. Control the valve using the OpeniClose switch (7). ‘The valve will open, and remain open, as long as the switch is held in the Open position, and will close, and remain closed, as long as itis held in the Close position. 3.2.2. Automatic control 41. Set the Man./Auto switch (8) on the front panel to Auto. (The valve ‘cannot now be reset manually using the Open/Close switch). ‘Automatic control can be done in the following two ways depending on the selected connection configuration. In both cases, the valve opensicloses depending on the time during which the motors relay is activated. Controllers with pulsed closing contact output When the contact is closed, the motors relay is actuated and the valve opens or closes, Controllers/Computers with pulsed signal output for 24 V DC. A current loop (24 V DC) is closed in the computer output, after which a relay coil in the control unit is activated and the relay closes. This in turn activates the relay for the current to the actuator. The input signal is then isolated. The current loop can be closed in different ways depending on the computers ‘output. Common signal outputs are: open collector, relay contacts and so on, these are directly suited to VBW.-1 100. \VBW+100 Operating Instructions M2078/3en @BTG 2016 6.2.
