Aurora

Do you know what is aurora? In case you don’t, here’s a detail of what it is…
It is a beautiful, magical and an inexplicable light in the sky. I have only seen this beautiful
illusion of several gases in the sky only in pictures. In pictures, I find them amazing. I can only
imagine what they may look like in real life.

They light up the night sky. Aurora is also referred to as polar light. They are usually seen in
mountainous and cold areas. People from all over the world come to see this light.

Aurora lights up the sky when solar wind particles excite with upper atmosphere, oxygen shines
green orange and red whereas nitrogen shines blue or red. They frequently appear as diffused
glow or either in the form of curtains. The most distinctive are the curtain like arcs containing
many parallel rays, mostly seen in high latitude and clearly seen in the night sky.
