An employee can view all his reportees & managers along the organizational hierarchy, which is developed using the
REST services. Claimed based SAML security tokens were used for authentication across applications which would be
the web single sign on solution for the future applications for communication across the enterprise. Saying that, a user
with credentials calls a WCF hosted service from MOSS and read/write data from/to SAP without reentering the user
credentials all part of the system is like creating Requests, waiting for DOA, Sending Email for delegation.
Data lies in Ecommerce server, which is a transactional database holding updated data from SAP system. Existing
Quoting System database (SQL Server) is fed by Ecommerce server. SharePoint is used for document management.
New QS Database (SQL Server) would hold data from Ecommerce, it would have additional columns compared to
existing QS Database, and additional columns data would be available in Ecommerce, which in turn needs to extract it
from SAP System. At the end of Quotation generation, once it is success, data needs to be pushed into SAP System.
REACH system enacts an environmental testing law that replaces lot of existing legislation in EU. It covers almost all
the chemical substances that are manufactured in or imported into the EU and impacts companies throughout the

supply chain - manufacturers, importers, life science companies, automotive companies etc.
The project is to develop a tool that will assist in REACH compliance, and handle the complete process of registration
with ECHA. Tool will have 6 modules: Substance & Material Management, Supplier & Customer Management, Supply
Chain Communication, Document Management, Reporting and SIEF communication.
The same application was extended to address additional aspects of Business Intelligence using Microsoft SQL Server
2008 Analysis Services (SSAS) & SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) that delivers online analytical processing

Description :
Team has dynamically mapped resources to the business and created Virtual Infrastructure to provide services. It
involves in setting up a Virtual Machine and configuring a production server on it which can be Linux or windows. The
storage is designed in a SAN environment. So it involves the management of the production environment and also
handing the migration of the entire setup to a recovery server setup during down times or server crashes providing the
minimum down time. Rather than risking the production by directly implementing patches and upgrades the snapshots
of the same are moved to VM Lab., for testing and research. Once we are sure that the patches are stable we can bring
them and deploy the on the live machines. We also provide an interface to the clients by which they can monitor,
configure and manage the services in a secured way. This architecture also crosses the geographical limitations of the
infra-structure management.
