RICAFORTE, KEVIN ACHELES Q.

10-ASHER

1. What are the factors that affect our decision-making?

Two of the major factors that affect our decision making is our religion and
values in life.

2. Why do we need to consider these factors? How does it affect our decisions?

It is vital for us to consider our religion and values in life in making a decision
because it helps us to determine what is right and wrong. Furthermore, religion
taught us good values with the words of God and it aligns us to make the right
decision every time we are in a circumstance that challenges our beliefs and
integrity as a person. For instance, when we see a wallet full of money on a street
and there is no one aside from us who may have owned it. If we will consider our
religion and values, we will go to the nearest police station or lost and found area
to surrender the wallet and return it to its real owner. Otherwise, if we chose to
overlook these factors, we can simply claim the wallet and spend the money as if
it were ours, even though it is a wrongdoing.

In the end, as a person who has good values taught by our religion, we will
choose the first decision which is to surrender the wallet. Because we know and it
is taught in the bible that it is bad to claim what is not yours.
