It Refers to
a person's "total way of life," which can and can't be seen, consists of beliefs,
knowledge, practices, physical objects, and any other habits and capabilities
that are common and agreed upon by a group of people.
There are two basic type of culture the Non- material culture and Material
culture.
TheNon- material Culture Is the intangible, abstract parts of the culture that
can't be touched. It can be superstitious beliefs, knowledge, and practices.
While Material Culture Is the tangible and man-made objects of culture that
can be seen and touched. It could be artwork, tools or written records and also
be calledArtifacts or an item made or given shape by humans that shows
human modification and workmanship.
The two example of material culture are the Manunggul Jar, It is a burial jar,
an example of an artifacts, and was found in the 1960's in Manunggul Cave,
Lipuun Point, Palawan. The second is the Laguna Copperplate Inscription its is
a historical legal document found around 1987 in a river in the province of
Laguna.
