• Use Adobe Illustrator to make solution and use MS Word to compile the exercise solution.
• You may consult tutorials and videos if the concept is not clear.
• Your submitted exercise will not be considered/counted if:

▪ It is not in the required format (.doc or .docx)
▪ It does not open, or file is corrupt.
▪ It is copied (partial or full) from any source (websites, forums, students, etc.)

Learning Outcome:

After completing this task, you will be able to:

• Convert low-resolution images into vector graphics.
• Draw complex shapes using the Pen tool, Pathfinder tool, and basic shapes.
• Use of the Eyedropper tool.

Problem Statement:

1. Convert any one of the given raster images (available at the following link) into a vector graphic by
tracing it in Adobe Illustrator.

2. You can use different tools for tracing, such as a Pen tool, Shape tool, Pathfinder tool, Eyedropper
tool and Shape Builder tool, etc.

3. Take screenshots of the required task on each step along with the layer Panel.

4. Insert all the screenshots of the above-mentioned tasks in an MS Word file and upload that MS Word
file on the LMS. (MS Word file is mandatory)
