1) File virus / parasitic virus
File virus / parasitic virus infects the system by appending itself to the end of a file.It changes the start of a program so that the controller jumps to its code. After executing its code, the control returns to the main program. Its
execution is not even noticed. It is also called a Parasitic virus because it leaves no file intact but also leaves the host functional.
2)Boot virus/ memory virus
Boot virus / Memory virus infects the boot sector of the system, executing every time system is booted and before the operating system is loaded.
It infects other bootable media like floppy disks.
These are also known as memory viruses as they do not infect the file systems.
3)Macro virus
Macro virus written in the same macro language as used in the software program and infects the computer if a word processor file is opened. Mainly the source of such viruses is via emails.Unlike most viruses which are

c- scan
-Advantages of SSD, It has no latency or no seek time which result on it being faster

-Disadvantage: are much expensive as compared to traditional hard disks

Furthermore- they are smaller, consume less power, generate less heat, much faster than HDDs

informs the CPU that it needs attention, while talking about polling, the CPU constantly inspects
the status of the system to find whether it needs attention.
