what you know about Ica

S: The city of the eternal sun located in the capital of Peru. Ica is surrounded by a desert and is
one of the ideal destinations to escape. This region has archaeological sites, as well as many
activities for adventure tourism.

T: Did you know that the biggest tourist attraction in the city of Ica is "The oasis of
Huacachina"? you can do different activities, such as boat rides in the lagoon, sandboarding in

region.

addition, you can find different shopping centers such as "El mall Plaza del Sol". On the other

market in the city is the "Mercado Modelo", which is located near the main square. From “la
plaza de armas” walk one block. Turn left on San Martín Av and walk one block. Turn right on
Puno Av. Walk two blocks. Where you will frind the “Mercado Modelo” in front the BCP bank.

S: Finally, Ica is one of the cities that stands out the most for its food in Peru, so you cannot
leave without trying the famous “sopa seca” that is often accompanied with “Carapulcra”.
There are excellent restaurants where you can try this dish, and many more local dishes. One
of the best known in Ica is the restaurant "Cepas" where you can also try the most famous
drink of the place that is "Pisco" or desserts such as "las tejas" and “frejol colado”. The prices
of these dishes will be local, and you will have to pay for them with the local currency "soles".
