Rationale / P amble: The elective program at Dow University Hospital, Dow International Medical College, DUHS is a four-week, hands-on experience designed with an aim to train the next generation of Physician-scientist and clinician-investigators. It facilitates the students of other medical colleges enrolled in the Clinical Years of study (G" till Final Year MBBS) to have a Clinical Experience under supervision of our ‘eminent teaching faculty Program Objectiv: © To support medical students within and outside DUHS with an opportunity for a Program Design: 10, The Incharge Fe life-long learning experience at DUBS. To provide medical students opportunity for learning and experience in the various aspects of Clinical Practice and develop professionally by performing clinical practice in the discipline of his/her own choice ‘To enhance community oriented learning of medical students from other institutions by exposing them to a different healthcare setting environment catering patients with wide variety of socio-cultural background. Duration: The Elective Program will commence twice a year for 04 weeks. ‘Time: 6 hours/day for four weeks. ‘Month: Electives will be announced in the month of June/July and September till December. FEE: A fee of 10,000 PKR will be charged for the Elective Certification through cas. ‘The Program will be open for all National and International Medical graduation, five students per department. ‘A certificate of Elective will be issued after successful completion of the Elective Rotation on the basis of evaluation, (@r.
