6. The seats in a hall are arranged in a sequence such that the first row has 10 seats, the second
row has 15 seats, the third row has 20 seats and so on. Find:

c) How many seats are there if the are 30 rows of the seats? [Ans: 2475]
7. Given the first three terms of Geometric Sequence: 2b+3, b+6, b, where each of the term is
positive, find:
a) The value of b [Ans: 12]
b) The first term and common ratio [Ans: a = 27 r = 2/3]
8. Calculate the value of m and n that satisfy the simultaneous equation: [Ans: m = 7 n = -2]
