Neverwinter - Blacklake District

Castle Never 1
This tall, imposing structure was once the seat of power in Neverwinter, the centerpoint at which the 3 great
Forgotten Realms/Abir-Toril bridges converged. In the eruption of Mount Hotenow and the war with Luskan, the castle was damaged a great
deal. Enough that is still stands largely in ruins, with the occasional band of brigands trying to seize the rotting
haunted fortress for themselves. Beneath the castle lies an ever-shifting tangle of magically protected corridors
known as Neverneath. This death trap was constructed to protect the body of Lord Halueth Never.

Blacklake 2
The lake for which the district was named remains true to one's expectations. First polluted
when Mount Hotenow erupted in 1451 DR, the lake has been a nearly black pool of
horrendous sludge for many years now. This is not helped by the many ruined houses
around its bank, which occasionally drop bits of roofing or structure into the lake.
