FIRST SERIES OF THE RADIO AMATEUR EXAMINATION FOR 2011

Suruhanjaya Komunikasi dan Multimedia Malaysia (SKMM) will be holding the first series of the Radio
Amateur Examination (RAE) for 2011, pursuant to Regulation 26(2) of the Communications and Multimedia
(Technical Standards) Regulations 2000 as follow:

Qualification to sit for the examination is as follow:
• Age 14 and above on the exam date; and
• A Malaysian Citizen (Please refer to any SKMM office to confirm your eligibility for non-Malaysian citizen).
Qualified individuals are invited to sit for the examination.The application form can be obtained from SKMM
head office and via the SKMM website at www.skmm.gov.my
Please send duly completed forms together with the payment and a copy of your identification document
(Identity Card, “Kad Kuasa” or Passport) to the respective SKMM’s offices according to your preferred
examination centre as below:

Please mark the top left corner of the envelope with “RAE 2011-1”. The examination fee is Ringgit Malaysia Fifty
(RM 50.00) shall be paid in either Money / Postal Order or Bank Draft made out in favour of
“SURUHANJAYA KOMUNIKASI DAN MULTIMEDIA MALAYSIA” and must be enclosed with the
application form. Payment received through other modes of payment shall be rejected.

The number of candidates is limited. Priority is given to early applications received. The application result will be notified via
SKMM’s official website and by post latest by 7 days before the examination day. Please contact Cik Ida
