In partnership with the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA)
through the National Committee on Library and Information Services [NCLIS), and
the National Library of the Philippines (NL, Philippine Librarians Acoociations,
Incorporsted (PLAT ll be conducting its Annual National Congress with the theme,
“Working Together: Sustainability, Opportunity, Adaptability, Resiliency (SOAR|" on
overnber 22-25, 2022 atthe late Convention Center, oilo City, Pilipaines.

Personnel and stail of the Department of Education from the regional and
schools division ottees, including publle and private elementary and secondary

institutions, are invited to parsiipate in the activity on a voluntary basis,

Founded in 1923, the Philippine Librarians Association, Inc. (PLAID) is one ofthe oldest library associstions
inthe Southeast Asia and the world. PLAL is the only Accredited Integrated Professional Organization (ATPO)
of rogistered librarians in the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) with around 8,000 members all
cover the county represented by the 17 regions! councils in the thre island clusters of Luzon, Visayas, and
Mindanao.
very year, the Assocation holds its regular meetings in the National Capital Region (NCR) since its
headquarters i located at the National Library ofthe Philippines (NLP), 7M. Kalaw St, Emits, Manila. Just
this year, FLAT hele two online meetings via Zoom while the third quarter ws held atthe NLP.
In partnership with the Nationel Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCA) through the National
