Ans7)
1) Diversity Improves Cognitive Skills and Critical Thinking

The presence of diversity in the classroom of FCCU allows students to consider

perspectives and opinions beyond those they’ve already formed or were shaped in
early life by family and friends. By presenting students of different background with
viewpoints far different from their own, it gives them the opportunity to think
critically about their own beliefs and examine the world in fresh ways.
2) Diversity Promotes Creativity

At its core, creativity is all about bringing together different ideas and transforming
them to make something new, unique, and personal. The more ideas and
experiences people are exposed to, the more creative they can be.
3) Learn about Students’ Cultural Backgrounds

Classroom students aren’t the only ones who can benefit from learning about what
makes them diverse. According to nondestructive evaluation, educators should also
get to know their students and what makes them unique, thereby discovering the
viewpoint from which they see the world and their personal learning style. For an
educator, understanding cultural diversity in the classroom is a crucial part of being
able to anticipate where certain lessons might lead, or any issues that might arise
between students of different backgrounds.

In today's world, companies need to diversify to remain competitive. The benefits of
a diverse workforce go beyond political correctness. Example, Bringing in people with
different backgrounds and perspectives can lead to better decision-making, greater
innovation, and higher engagement in the workplace. It may also improve a
company's reputation and make it easier to attract top talent.
Ans 9)
Agricultural advancements led to the rise of factory farming. Even labor unions
caused changes in the workplace forcing companies to adapt. Technological
proliferation is causing a structural change in service industries with online shopping,
self-ordering kiosks in fast food restaurants, and voice operated devices to access
information and order products without using a phone call or, even, a computer.
On a country level, structural changes in productivity could transform an economy
from a developing nation to an emerging and, eventually, a developed nation.
Technical progress is seen as crucial in bringing about structural change as it involves
the obsolescence of skills, vocations, and permanent changes in spending and
production.
The key to effect structural change is the dynamism that is inherent in that system.
Currently, globalization is driving the structural change that is causing the economies
of the world to adapt, and that is possible solely due to the dynamic nature of the
global economic system.

Omnipotent and symbolic definition (slide)
It completely depends on situation, during pandemic in 2019 everything got
disturbed as lockdown was imposed and during that time all the work were left as it
is. So in these type of situation where external effects are impacting, a complete
blame on manager isn’t appropriate. Where as if the employees under managers are
working efficiently but the manager isn’t responding well it will ultimately have a
negative impact on the organisation and if the style will be symbolic the employees
who are working efficiently and effectively will get demotivated due to it. So the
Organisational Style of Management is always situational depending on the situation.
Ans 11)
Ideal decision making approach is bounded rationality as it differs from the actual
concept of rationality, which assumes humans have complete knowledge of their
alternatives and consequences. The bounded rationality decision-making model
states that individuals choose satisfactory results instead of the best.

We use bounded rationality over rational decision making approach because in

rational It makes numerous assumptions about the situation and the individuals.

It is assumed that the decision-maker is able to fully underhand the situation and the
implications of a decision.

It is also assumed that the managers are able to identify the available choices. It does
little to account for the effect of biases on the decision-making process.

Lastly it is assumed that the managers are in search of an optimal decision, rather
than satisfying.

Where as in bounded rationality decisions that are good enough to address the
situation. That is, the decision is adequate to address the situation, but it does not
maximize the potential value in the situation. This is known as satisficing.

Bounded rationally occurs when managers fail to search for potential options or
knowingly limit the number of available options.

The decision-maker focuses on options that meet a minimum number of decision

criteria.
