the profit earned from his investment in this hotel he managed to

he received many invitations to build or manage hotels all over
North Texas.

Later on he continued and purchased other hotels but ashe faced
Great Depression Hilion was nearly forced ino bankruptey and
almost lost most of his hotels. Fortunately, he managed to make an
‘agreement with the National Hotel Corporation where he became
the manager ofa combined chain between the 2 companies and
‘eventually regained control of his 8 hotels.
‘By 1939, Hilton’ Texas hotel debts were paid in full and he began
‘expanding his company outside the state wit the purchase of
‘hotel properties in San Francisco and Long Beach, California,1925- Dallas Hilton
1927- Abilene Hilton .
1928- Waco Hilton Hilton Hotel Chain
1929- El Paso Hilton
1939- Expansion California
