1 Basic structure: the chassis: ACTIVITY 2 TEMPLATE

Think about properties desirable for a car chassis.









Find about the previous properties of materials such as steel, aluminum and carbon
fiber, and rate each property as Low, Medium, Good or Excellent in the performance
of each property.

Think about other alternative materials to make the chassis or other components,
and rate them the same way as in previous exercise.

Think about a chassis concept made of a material of your choice. Consider the
materials evaluated in previous points, and decide what material you’d choose to
make your own Greenpower F24 car, and explain why.
