Ode to the Tissue

A Sonnet by Anon
My strange tissue, you inspire me to write.
I love the way you eat, waddle and bounce,
Invading my mind day and through the night,
Always dreaming about the lying ounce.

Let me compare you to a chemic eye?

You are more solid, liberal and dry.
Vain drought dries the plain picnics of July,
And summertime has the generous sky.

How do I love you? Let me count the ways.

I love your big eyebrows, humour and smile.
Thinking of your loose humour fills my days.
My love for you is the endemic spile.

Now I must away with a maudlin heart,

Remember my weird words whilst we're apart.
