A picture to remember

Summary

Cristina got a new job at a museum in Buenos Aires. She usually

goes to work by motorcycle.

One day, she noticed she was followed by two armed men. She
got carried away and got hit by a taxi. After the accident, she
became amnesiac about what happened. The two men planned on
killing Cristina, so they started watching her to establish her daily
routine.

Cristina started to become disturbed by her favourite picture, a

painting of a field of red poppies, but she didn’t realise why.

While she was at a gym, a weight falls on her arm. It was, in

fact, Roberto’s doing.

Cristina met the director of the French museum, and she

started developing feelings for him. He helped her find out who was
at the gym at the time of Cristina’s accident.

Philippe got hit by a car and he wasn’t seriously injured. Cristina

and Daniel visited Philippe in the hospital, while the two men followed
them. In the traffic, Cristina notices the poppy tattoo on Roberto’s
neck. She realises that he was one of the people who tried to kill her.
They ended up getting arrested.

The story concludes six months later. Cristina’s feelings for

Philippe haven’t changed and she is delighted when he invites her back
to France.
