Preparation: Soak the mushrooms in hot water for 2
hours. Drain, and then chop into small pieces. In a
large pan, put the chopped mushrooms and 1 litre of
vegetable stock. Then add the pearl barley. Bring
everything to a boil and cook for 1 hour. In a separate
bowl, mix the cream and flour with a little of the hot
soup. Pour this mixture into the large pan, stirring
constantly. Season with salt and pepper.
