Your Guide to
Financial Must-Haves
REAL LIFE ON A BUDGET

Money doesn't have to rule your life.

The way to financial freedom, starts with the budget and ends with achieving your life's goals. But
there are a few things "in the middle" that you need to make sure you have in place in order to
make the journey towards financial freedom easier.

WE BELIEVE IN THE REAL LIFE MONEY PLAN.™

EMERGENCY FUND
Make sure you have at least a starter
Emergency Fund of a $1,000 and then
build up your fund to 3 - 6 months of
living expenses.

YES, YOU NEED IT.

You need insurance. Period. If you rent, you
need renter's insurance. If you have a spouse
or children, you need life insurance (even if
you're a SAHM). If you have a car, you need
auto insurance. This isn't a game and this will
protect you if the unfortunate happens.

MONEY MINUTE
The key to managing your money well lies in
knowing where your money is going. And it's
super important that you keep an eye on your
money - every day. So take 60 seconds every
day to review your finances to make sure you
haven't made any budgeting mistakes.

DON'T BREAK THIS RULE!

Make sure that your rent or mortgage is no more
than 30% of your take-home pay. Preferably this
monthly payment will be way lower than 30% but
make sure it's not more or else your home will be
eating up too much of your income .

MAKE THESE A PART OF YOUR FINANCIAL LIFE FOR LIFE!
