Continuous Skill Development Contract

We are excited to have you part of our active pipeline of fresh hires from 2022 campus.

Further to our communication with respect to the completion of the learning path successfully, that will
make you eligible for your onboarding as FTE into Cognizant, to enable you with some of the learning
materials we are required to provide you access into the system as a Pre-Hire, upon you agreeing to the
following terms and conditions.

1. It is hereby clarified that participation in this Continuous Skill Development Training Program ("CSD")
shall not constitute you to be an employee of Cognizant nor obligates Cognizant for any purpose
whatsoever. The scope of this CSD program does not include any supervisory responsibilities and that
there is no agency, fiduciary, or employer -employee relationship intended or created by reason of this
document. There would be zero tolerance to plagiarisms and misconduct during the Training period. Any
such incident reported will lead to immediate cancellation of FTE offer without any notice.
2. You would be required to ensure timely completion and submission of assignments, project work and
preparation required prior to the sessions.
3. You will be given a login id with which you can gain access to Cognizant's Network. The access can be
utilized only for the purpose of enablement to complete the courses under the CSD program.
4. Cognizant holds all rights to downgrade or withhold or cancel this contract due to non-conformance of
performance benchmark or moral code of conduct or in case of you failing to participate in the CSD
program within the given date/timeline or for such other reasons upon providing written communication of
the same to you. Upon such cancelation of this contract, your access and participation in the CSD
including the offer shall stand terminated.
5. You will continue to go through learning curriculum as per the learning track assigned to you. The
learning path will include in-depth sessions, hands on exercise and project work. There will also be series
of webinars, quizzes, SME interactions, mentor connects, code challenges, assessments etc. to accelerate
your learning. The outcome during this enablement phase would be monitored through formal evaluations.
6. Prior to joining as a Full-Time Employee (on the rolls) of Cognizant, you must have successfully
completed the prescribed learning program. In the event of unsatisfactory performance and/or failure to
participate in the CSD program within the given time - line, Cognizant reserves rights at its sole discretion
to revoke its employment offer.
7. The timings would be for 9 hours per day from Monday through Friday aligned to the working timings
followed in Cognizant or as per any shift allocated per day or week-off
8. You may be required to report to a Cognizant location as per requirement or as identified by Cognizant.
9. You are covered under Cognizant's calendar holidays of the respective location of training, and you
would need to adhere with minimum attendance requirements. Prior written approvals are a must towards
any unavoidable absence during the program.
10. Cognizant reserves rights regarding IT infra as applicable and access to information and material of
Cognizant during the Training period and may modify or amend the Cognizant GenC program terms and
conditions from time to time
11. There will be no stipend, or any monetary compensation paid in any form during the training period.
However, upon successful completion of the Training program and background verification, you will be
onboarded as an FTE and will be eligible for one time skilling bonus of INR 25000 (provided not already
included in the full-time offer received). For the avoidance of doubt, the candidates who have not

successfully completed the Training program shall not be eligible for any joining bonus nor be eligible to be
onboarded as FTE.
12. Cognizant will not encourage any claim with regard to compensation or other statutory payments or
reimbursements under this document and it is hereby clarified that participation in this CSD program shall
not entitle you for any benefits paid or made available to that of Cognizant employees
13. This contract from Cognizant is valid for 1 week – 7calendar days, from the date of the contract.
Hence, you are requested to accept or decline the contract within 1 week from the date of the contract. In
case we do not receive any response from your end within the aforementioned time period, this contract
shall stand withdrawn/cancelled and will be considered as void.
14. In the event of you failing to accept this contract within the above-mentioned period, it shall be deemed
that you are not interested in the offer extended by Cognizant and hence this offer shall automatically stand
revoked and cancelled. Thereupon, your access shall also stand revoked, and Cognizant shall not be
obligated to extend nor be liable due to termination of this contract and the FTE offer.
For avoidance of doubt, it is herewith stated that the FTE offer shall stand cancelled:
a. In the event of you accepting the CSD Offer but not joining on the specified date of onboarding into the
CSD program
b. In the event of you not accepting the CSD offer or failing to communicate acceptance within 7 calendar
days as stated above
c. For such other operational, regulatory reasons including breach of terms herein.
15. During the course of your Training program and after completion of the same, you are required to
maintain strictest confidentiality with respect to company proprietary or products that you access or come
into contact with, during your training, at all times as per our Policy. Use of company proprietary
information or products shall not be made without prior permission from the concerned authority. Any
breach of information security will be dealt as per Company Policy.
16. Code of Conduct. You shall comply with Cognizant's Core Values and Standards of Business Conduct,
located at https://www.cognizant.com/us/en/documents/code-of-ethics.pdf and incorporated herein by
reference.
17. You hereby consent for Cognizant to collect, process the data submitted by you for background
verification.

You will also be required to submit the following documents at the time of reporting/onboarding.
• Pan Card
• Letter of Authorization
