CONCLUSION

In this experiment, we have learned to measure rate of respiration by measuring amount of oxygen
consumed by different types of animal subjects. Results collected and analysed showed that
different species of animals do not have same rate of respiration because of their difference in
respiratory system, body mass, metabolism and other physiological contribution factors. Hence, the
HA was accepted.
