SUB INSPECTORS RESERVATION: WOMEN RESERVATION: 33% % ir all categories. EWS, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E, SC, ST and Ex. Servicemen as per rule of reservation. SPECIAL REPRESENTATION FOR SPECIAL CATEGORIES: 2% for Meritorious Sports Persons (MSP); 3% for NCC; 5% for Police Executive (PE); 1% for Police Ministerial (PM); 2% for Children of Police Personnel (CPP) and 2% for CDI. ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS: Civil Sub Inspectors: Men & Women are eligible. APSP Reserve Sub Inspectors: only Men are eligible. Age Relaxation has been given to EWS / BCs / SCs/ STs/ Government einployee / Armed Forces employee / NCC Instructor / Temporary employee of State Census Department: Details are given in the notification. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATION: Degree or any other equivalent qualification. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduled Castes or Scheduled Tribes, as on 1st July, 2022, he/she must have passed Intermediate or equivalent examination and should have studied degree. sl ECTION PROCEDURE: L PRELIMINARY WRITTEN TEST Two papers (each of three hours duration). Events for Physical Efficiency Test: CIVIL Sub Inspectors: 1.1600 Meters run (i Mile Run) and 2. One out of the two events of 100 meters run or long jump. ‘These will be qualifying in nature, APSP Reserve Sub Inspectors: Candidates must qualify in all three events of the Physical Efficiency Test: 1, 1600 Meters run {1 Mile Run) 2, 100 meters run 3. long jump. FINAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION Four papers (each of three hours duration) are cape | Paper! | English (Descriptive in nature) (Degree Standard) Paper ll _| Telugu or URDU (Descriptive in nature) (Degree Standard) Paper III | Arithmetic (SSC Standard)and Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability (Objective in nature) (200 questions) Paper IV _| General Studies (Objective in nature) (200 questions) (Degree Standard) FINAL SELECTION: Civil Sub Inspectors: The Final Written Examination Paper i and il are qualifying in nature. Paper III consisting of 200 marks and paper IV’ consisting of 200 marks, total 400 marks, will be taken into account for final selection. APSP Reserve Sub Inspectors: Paper I and II are qualifying in nature. Final selection will be made based on their score in the Final Written Examination (Paper-II1-100 Marks, Paper-IV-100 Marks, Total 200 marks) and Physical Efficiency Test (for 100 marks), totaling to 300 marks. FEE STRUCTURE: Candidates with local candidature of Andhra Pradesh, belonging to OCs and BCs, Rs. 600/- ; SCs and STs, Rs. 300/-. Those who intend to apply for both categories of posts, need to submit only one application form. POLICE CONSTABLES RESERVATION: WOMEN RESERVATION: 33 % in all categories. EWS, BC-A, BC-B, BC-C, BC-D, BC-E, SC, ST and Ex. Servicemen as per rule of reservation. Reservation for Special Categories: Civil Constables: 2% for Meritorious Sports Person (MSP); 3% for NCC; 15% for Home Guards (HG); 4% for Children of Police Personnel (CPP) and 2% for CDI. APSP Constables: 2% for Meritorious Sports Person (MSP); 3% for NCC; 25% for Home Guards (HG); 4% for Children of Police Personnel (CPP) and 2% for CDI. NOTE THAT THE RESERVATION QUOTA FOR HOME GUARDS HAS BEEN INCREASED SUBSTANTIALLY FROM 8% 15_% IN RESPECT OF CIVIL CONSTABLES, AND 10% TO 25 % IN RESPECT OF APSP CONSTABLE! ELIGIBILITY CONDITIONS: Civil Constables: Men & Women are eligible. APSP Constables: only Men are eligible. In the case of a candidate belonging to Scheduted Castes or Scheduled Tribes, he/she must have passed SSC or its equivalent examination and should have studied Intermediate and appeared for the Intermediate Examinations of 1* year and 24 year. SELECTION PROCEDURE: 1. PRELIMINARY WRITTEN TEST One Paper (three hours duration) for 200 marks (200 Questions): Intermediate Standard: Subject for the examination: English / Arithmetic (SSC Standard)/ Test of Reasoning / Mental Ability /General Science / History of India, Indian culture, Indian National Movement. / Indian Geography, Polity and Economy / Current events of national and international importance. 2. PHYSICAL MEASUREMENT TEST & PHYSICAL EFFICIENCY TEST Candidates who qualify Preliminary Written Test will appear for the Physical Measurement Test and Physical Efficiency Test Events for Physical Efficiency Test: Civil Constabl 1. 1600 Meters run (1 Mile Run) and 2. FINAL WRITTEN EXAMINATION Candidates who qualify in the above Physical Efficiency Test shall be required to appear for the final written examination (three hours duration) for 200 marks. FINAL SELECTION: Civil Constables: Based on their score in the Final Written Examination for 200 marks. APSP Constables: Based on their score in the Final Written Examination (for 100 marks) and Physical Efficiency Test (for 100 marks), totalling to 200 marks. FEE STRUCTURE: Candidates with local candidature of Andhra Pradesh, belonging to OCs and BCs, Rs. 300/- ; SCs and STs, Rs. 150/-.
