Badrinath
Location Badrinath is located about 301 kms north of Rishikesh in Chamoli district of Uttarakhand. How To Reach Badrinath is connected by motorable roads with other major destinations of the region. To reach Badrinath by road, one has to take NH 58 from Rishikesh via Devprayag, Rudraprayag, Karnaprayag, Nand Prayag, Chamoli, Joshimath and Govindghat. From Rishikesh, Badrinath is 298 Km while from Joshimath, it is 48 Km.

Kedarnath
Location
The Kedarnath Temple is located in Rudraprayag district of Uttarakhand. It is very close to the Indo-China border and River Mandakini originates from the Kedarnath Mountains. It can be reached from Rishikesh (234 km) and Dehradun (250 km). How To Reach
Kedarnath can be reached by trekking (14 Km) from Gaurikund which is about 73 Km from Rudraprayag. From Gaurikund, one has to trek about 8 Km to reach a Rambara from where another 6 Km trek leads to the holy shrine of Kedarnath. The entire trek may take about 6-7 hours.
Vasuki Tal :- Situated at a height of 4,150mt, the lake is surrounded by high mountains and offers an excellent view of Chaukhamba peaks. Gaurikund :- It is the base for a trek to Kedarnath and serves as a roadhead. The village has a temple dedicated to Gauri and hot water springs. Gangotri
Location
Gangotri is a town in the Uttarkashi district of Uttarakhand. It is approximately 300 km from Dehradun, 250 km from Rishikesh and 105 km from Uttarkashi. How To Reach By road, one has to take NH 94 from Janaki Chati to Dharasu via Hanuman Chatti, Phool Chatti and Barkot. From Dharasu, Nh 108 leads to Gangotri via Uttarkashi. From Janaki Chatti, Gangotri is about 215 Km. Gangotri is well connected by motorable road with other major destinations of the region like Rishikesh (249 Km), Uttarkashi (100 Km) and so on.
Yamunotri
Location
The Yamunotri temple is located in the Uttarakashi district of Uttarakhand. The temple is located about ten kms trek from the town of Hanuman Chatti, with a break in Janaki Chatti. How To Reach
Yamunotri can be reached on foot or on a pony from Janaki Chatti. It takes about 2 1/2 hours to reach Yamunotri on a pony. During bad weather, buses generally don't reach Janaki Chatti and one has to get down at a place called Sayana Chatti. From Sayana Chatti, regular Jeep services to Janaki Chatti are available a reasonable prices.
