Significant Change to Kits Containing Pump Control Nodes

Potential Issue:

In some cases, retrofit kits that would have contained a PCN3+ will now receive an additional
retrofit kit containing a PCN4+, Money Volume Displays, and related components.

Details:

If an M18666A001 PCN4+ is received in place of a PCN3+ the PCN4+ must be installed for the unit
to meet all requirements. There is no way to transfer redundant storage from LON to Display Bus
platforms, all regulatory and totals data required must be gathered prior to removal of the existing
equipment. This should include configuration data from the PCN to ensure proper programming
after installation.

Further Information:

When the new PCN and Main Display(s) are installed, redundant storage will be lost. The unit will
need to be properly reprogrammed from the default state. Once the unit is properly reconfigured
as verified by the data gathered, the unit must be recalibrated before being returned to service.

Be prepared for this process and have the appropriate equipment and documentation on hand,
otherwise it will be more difficult to return the unit to service.
