2. William Shakespeare
William Shakespeare was an English playwright, poet and actor. He is widely regarded as the greatest
writer in the English language and the world's pre eminent dramatist. He is often called England's national
poet and the "Bard of Avon". The literary identity of William Shakespeare it was his poem for example
Sonnet 18 that has been voted the greatest poem ever written, Romeo and Juliet, and Hamlet. The
relation of his literary work to English Literature is, his works contributed significantly to the
standardization of grammar, spelling, and vocabulary. Shakespeare introduced so many words that we still
use until now.
3. Halloween
Halloween or Hallowe'en less commonly known as Allhalloween, All Hallows' Eve, or All Saints' Eve is a
celebration observed in many countries on 31 October, the eve of the Western Christian feast of All Saints'
Day. It begins the observance of Allhallowtide, the time in the liturgical year dedicated to remembering
the dead, including saints (hallows), martyrs, and all the faithful departed.
