One day a young warrior fell in love with a very
beautiful young woman and they both decided to
get married after obtaining their parents'
permission.
Since they loved each other so much and knowing
the dangers of coexistence, they decided to consult
the witch doctor of the tribe so that he could
prepare a spell that would make their love and their
alliance truly eternal.
The sorcerer told the warrior:
“Go to the mountains of the North and climb the

alive."

LEYENDA DEL AMOR ETERNO (Leyenda maya)
Un día un joven guerrero se enamoró de una joven
muy bella yambos decidieron casarse tras lograr el
permiso de sus padres.
Como se amaban tanto y sabiendo de los peligros
de la convivencia, decidieron consultar el brujo de
la tribu para que les preparase un conjuro que
hiciese su amor y su alianza realmente eterna.
El brujo le dijo al guerrero:
“Ve a las montañas del Norte y sube a la más alta
que encuentres; cuando estés en la cima busca el
halcón más vigoroso, el más fuerte y más valiente
de todos. Debes cazarlo y traerlo vivo aquí.”
Luego, dirigiéndose a la hermosa muchacha le dijo:
“Tú ve a las montañas del Sur y busca en la
cordillera el águila más cazadora, la que vuele más
alto y la de mirada más profunda. Tú solita debes
cazarla y traerla viva aquí.”
Tras varios días de andar por las montañas el
guerrero y la muchacha consiguieron sus objetivos
y volvieron con las hermosas aves junto al brujo.
“¿Qué debemos de hacer con ellas?”
preguntaron.
“Son hermosas y fuertes estas aves ¿Verdad?” ,
les preguntó el brujo.
“Sí” respondieron ellos. “Son las mejores que hay y
nos costó mucho capturarlas.”
“¿Las vieron volar muy alto y muy veloces?”, les
preguntó de nuevo el brujo.
“Sí. Volaban más alto y rápido que ninguna”,
respondieron los dos.
“Muy bien. Ahora quiero que las aten la una a la
otra por las patas.”
Los dos jóvenes así lo hicieron y siguiendo las
instrucciones del brujo después las soltaron. Las
pobres aves intentaban volar pero como estaban
atadas la una a la otra se estorbaba y no pudieron
hacerlo. Lo único que conseguían era tropezarse la
una con la otra y haciéndose daño se revolcaban
por los suelos.
“¿Ven lo que les sucede a estas aves?”, les dijo el
brujo.
“Atadas la una a la otra ninguna es capaz de volar
mientras que solas lo hacían muy alto.”
“Este es el conjunto que les doy para que su amor
sea eterno:
Que su alianza no sea atadura para ninguno si no
fuerza y aliento para crecer y mejorar como
personas.
Que su amor no les cree dependencias si no que
manifieste el cariño y la solidaridad de quienes
comparten el mismo pan.
Respétense como personas y dejen que cada uno
pueda volar libremente para ir aprendiendo a volar
juntos por el cielo.
Si actúan así su amor será realmente eterno
porque nunca será limitación sino un estímulo para
que cada uno pueda crecer.
Cierto es que todo lo que limita el alma muere
tarde o temprano en esta vida porque nuestra ley
suprema es la de crecer y evolucionar como
personas.
Muere un amor desgraciado que atenaza a los
amantes y los oprime como personas. Muere con
la alegría como quien de repente sale libre de una
cárcel donde prisionera estaba su alma.
Pero también muere un amor feliz aunque muera
con pena .Muere cuando reblandece a los amantes
y los hace más vulnerables y dependientes como
personas.
El único amor que nunca muere, el único amor que
supera incluso la muerte es ese pacto sagrado de
las almas porque ambas se ayudan en su
evolución, por las que ambas se respetan para que
puedan ser libres ya la vez solidarias entre sí.

Si quieres que tu amor sea realmente inmortal no
ahogues con tu abrazo la libertad de tu amante y
que vuestro pacto sea siempre de mutuo
crecimiento.
