Provided and visible ‘SEL2431 Controller Provided and visible4.Acceptance , Transport, Lifting and Storage 4.4 Pictorial marking for handling Under normal circumstances, the RVR-1 is packed in a wooden box during transport. Bypass Switches. is packaged separately as a product accessory. Packaging markings are printed on both sides of the packing box. Packaging markings include the information of packing box number, gross weight, etc. In addition, the outside of the packing box is also printed with pictorial marking. The following should be noted during transport: Make sure that the packing box is not placed in wet or flooded areas. Do not overlay and stack the voltage regulator.4.4 Lifting RVR-1 is fitted with lifing lugs, also can be moved on pallets with a forklift truck. The RVR-1 are very heavy so please handle with care! 4.5 Receipt & Storage prior to installation The RVR-1 with complete packing should always be stored indoor to protect from direct sunlight& rain/snow. Voltage regulator can be stored up to 3 months from date of shipment from the factory. For longer storage, the packing needs to be removed and the breaker be kept under controlled environmental conditions. We define storage in controlled conditions as a place with: Leak proof roof, Solid, flat ground, Relative humidity less than 50%, Temperature 20°C (# 10° C). 4.6Acceptance and storage voltage regulator For the delivery and acceptance of each batch of products, the following should be checked: 4.6.1 Quantity of products and accessories, specifications (check orders and shipping documents) 46.2If there is any shipping damage or loss 4.6.3Any abnormal situation should be immediately notified to: ROCKWELL, freight forwarder and insurance company. If the RVR-1 cannot be installed immediately, original packing materials need to be used. Restore it to the original packaging and place hygroscopic agent in the packing box. At least one standard bag of hygroscopic agent should be placed for every packing box. Settings are divided into the following settings classes: 1. Global 2. Group n (where n = Group 1-4) 3. Logicn (where n = Group 1-4) 4, Front Panel 5. Report 6. Port p (where p =F, 1, and 2 [Ports 1’and 2 are optional communications ports}) 7. Distributed Network Protocol (DNP) Maps 1 and 2 6.4.2 View/Change Settings Using the Front Panel You can use the pushbuttons on the front panel to viewichange settings. ront-Panel Interface presents the operating details of the front panel. Enter the front-panel menu by pushing the ESC pushbutton. It wil display the following message: MAIN Meter Scroll down the menu by using the Down Arrow pushbutton until the display shows the following message: Control et/Show The cursor (underline) should be on Set/Show. Enter the Set/Show menu by pushing the Enter pushbutton. The display shows the following message SET/SHOW Jobal Scroll down the menu to underline the desired settings class: Global, Group, or Port. Select the underined settings class with the ENT pushbutton, and the device will present you with the settings as listed in the SEL- 2431 settings sheets. Use the Up Arrow, Down Arrow, Left Arrow, and Right Arrow pushbuttons to scroll through the settings and view/change them according to your needs by selecting and editing them. Affer viewing/changing the settings, press the ESC pushbutton until the following message appears: Save Changes? Yes No Select and enter the appropriate command by pushing the Enter pushbutton, Select Yes to save the settings changes and No to discard the changes. Alll the voltages wired to the rear-panel VOLTAGES connector are switched in/connected to energize the power supply and voltage input VS1 (voltage input VS2 is energized, too, if a second voltage is available at terminal 3 of the VOLTAGES connector). 2. OFF: All the voltages wired to the rear-panel VOLTAGES connector are switched out/disconnected to de- energize the SEL-2431. 3. EXTERNAL: The EXTERNAL SOURCE terminals are switched in/ connected to energize the power supply and voltage inputs from a 120 Vac nominal external source (connected to the EXTERNAL SOURCE terminals). Note: If the voltage regulator is connected to the line, set the switch to the internal power supply.
