Se7en - Movie review

Se7en, is an American psychological crime thriller film

directed by David Fincher, written by Andrew Kevin Walker,
and produced by Arnold Kopelson in 1995. It Starring Brad Pitt,
Morgan Freeman, and Kevin spacey. Principal photography took
place in Los Angeles and the film’s budget was $33 million.
Se7en is one of the greatest films ever made. Though, it was
nominated for best film editing at the 68th Academy Awards.
The film is about a serial killer who Is going on a rampage
following seven deadly sins. He is going on seven different
people killing them in a way that reflects those sins. Brad Pitt
and Morgan Freeman are the detectives that are after him.
Personally speaking, I am glad I watched this masterpiece. I
loved the dark lightning and suspicious undertones with the
soundtrack and intriguing dialogue. I have never had a movie
make me feel the tension I was supposed to feel. The ending also
got me shaking and anxious, though, I was actually on the edge
of my seat screaming and yelling at my screen during the ending
of the movie. Honestly speaking, I have never been so invested
in a crime movie that was entirely a fictional movie.
Nevertheless, seven is one of the greatest psychological
thriller movies of all time. The story, music, images, atmosphere,
tension, performances, and cinematography were outstanding
and incredible. The tone and elements were dark, urban, raw,
and explicit which works perfectly for the movie. Morgan
Freeman and Brad Pitt did a phenomenal and spectacular job
portraying William somerset and David Mills as they both put
tons of emotions into their roles. The ending gives me chill and
goosebumps due to its dark conclusions it gives an articulate
representation of how true evil wins.
Overall, the reason I decided to write this review is that I
was amazed by this movie and I recommend everyone to watch
this movie and feel the same way about this movie as me. Se7en
was incredible to me. A true classic of a movie and one that I
adore and rewatch over and over again.
