Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 50% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known), OR ll. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with atleast 45% marks and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure), Regulations, 2002 OR ii, Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 years Bachelor of Elementary Education (BELEd,). OR lv. Senior Secondary (or ts equivalent) with at least S0% marks and 2 year Diploma in Cducation (Special Education) oR ¥_ Graduation and two-year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known) OR Vi Graduation with at least 50% marks and Rachslar of Education (B Fd.) OR vi. Post Graduation with a minimum 65% marks or equivalent grade urd three-yeur inlegraled B. Ed-M.Ed Note. A person who is pursuing/auiilled lo any of lhe Teacher Educalion Courses (e.g. 0.ELEd, B.Ed, BELEd, B.Ed-MEd. etc) shall be eligible for appeanng in the I! Paper-I provided that hisyher TET certificate shall be valid, only on passing the examination of the aforesaid Teacher Education Courses. Minimum Educational Qualifications for becoming Teacher for Glasses VI - Vill (Upper Primary Stage). |. Senior Secondary (or its equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year Bachelor in Elementary Education (BELEd).OR ii, Senior Secondary (orits equivalent) with at least 50% marks and 4 year B.A/B.Sc. Ed, or. BA.EG/B.Sc.Ed or Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 Year B.Ed. (Special Education) li Graduation and 2 year Diploma in Elementary Education (by whatever name known). OR iv. Graduation with at least 50% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (D.£¢.). OR Graduation with at least 45% marks and 1 year Bachelor in Education (B.Ed), in accordance with the NCTE (Recognition Norms and Procedure) Regulation issued from time to time in this regard. OR Wi Post Graduation with @ minimum 55% marks or equivalent grade and three year integrated B Ed - M.Ed Note: A person who is pursuing/admitted to any of the Teauher Eduvalion Courses (v.y. D.ELEU, B.Ed, B.E/.Ed, B.EU-M.Ed. eto) shall be eligible for appearing in the TET Paper-ll provided that his/her TET certificate shall be valid only on passing the examination ofthe aforesaid Teacher Caucation Courses. ‘The candidate should satisfy his /her eligibility before applying and shall be personally responsible in case he/she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria a eeNote: 1. Relaxation up to 5% in the qualifying marks in the minimum Educational Qualification for eligbilty shall be allowed to the candidates belonging to reserved categories, such as SC/ST/OBC/Ditferently abled. 2. Diploma/Megree Course in Teacher Education: For the purpases of this Notification, a Diplama/Degree course in teacher education recognized by the National Cauneil for Teacher Edueation (NCTE) only shall be considered However, in case of Djploma in Education (Special Education) and B.Ed. (Special Education). a course recognized ‘by the Rehabilitation Council of India (RCI) only shall be considered, 2 The minimum qualifications referred above apply to teachers of Languages, Social Studies/Social Science, etc In respect of teachers for Physical Education, the minimum qualification norms for Physical Education (eachers referred to in NCTE Regulation, dated 3rd November, 2001 (as amended from time to time) shall be applicable. For teachers of Art Education, Craft Education, Home Science, Work Education, ete. the existing eligibilty norms prescribed by the Stete Governments and other schoo managements shall be applicable til such time the NCTE lays down the minimum qualifications In respect of such teachers. 4 The Gandidates/aspirants who have completed 18 months D 1 Ed Course conducted hy NIOS shall be eligible to sit in the TET 2022 The candidate should salisly his/her eligibilly before applying and shall be personally responsible in case trey she is not eligible to apply as per the given eligibility criteria. It is to be noted that if a candidate has been allowed to appear in the Teacher Cigibilty Test it does not imply that the candidate's eligibiity has been verified. It does not vest any right with the candidate for appointment. The eligibility shal be finally verified, by the concerned recruiting agency /appointing authority. 6 Minimum percentage of marks in graduation shall nol be applicable to those incumbents who had already taken admission to bachelor of Education or Bachelor of Elementary Education or equivalent course prior to the 29th July, 2041. 7 Tha pass mark for TET - 202? is 60% for Generel candidates and 50% for OBC, ST, SC and Physicelly challenged candidates. The candidates not having any of the above qualifications are not eligible to apply for appearing in Teacher Eligibility Test (TET). PATTERN OF EXAMINATION: The Teacher Eligibility Test willbe of objective type Multiple Choice Question (MCQ's). There will be 2 papers of TET and there will be no negative marking, The time duration for the said TestExamination shall be 2.30 hours/ 160 minutes.
