Queen of the Bears

The great bear Artio can be seen roaming the wilds, but often prefers to slumber in her cave for months at a time. When
Artio is stirred she can roar into combat cleaving her foes with her great paws, and snapping off heads with her devilishly
sharp teeth.

Invoke Patron Check Results:

12-13 Artio is amused with you, little cub. The hair on your body grows thicker and a little darker, there is a
cripsness to the air, and other signs of the her power manifest, giving the caster a surge of energy in the
form of +1d6 Strength or +1d6 Stamina for the next hour. This may be spellburned as normal.

14-17 Artio issues a roaring challenge at your foes. Any foe within 15' must succeed at Will save or take -2 to all
attack and damage rolls for the next 1d6 rounds.

18-19 The caster’s body becomes bear-like in nature: the caster gains infravision to 60’, +1d3 to strength and
stamina, and fingernails extend into claws granting +1d4 to unarmed attack and damage rolls for the next
1d4 hours

20-23 Artio grants you her protection. The space behind the target grows dark and a giant bear emerges snapping
its jaws around the target for 2d10 damage (DC 20 Reflex save for half damage).

24-27 Artio sends aid in the form of a brown bear ally. The bear emerges from the ground to serve the caster as a
henchman. See brown bear's stats below. The brown bear leaves after 1d3+CL hours. It can be ridden as a
mount.

28-29 Artio sends aid in the form of a grizzly bear ally. The bear emerges from the ground to serve the caster as a
henchman. See grizzly bear's stats below. The grizzly bear leaves after 1d6+CL rounds. It can be ridden as a
mount.

30-31 Artio shows you her favor. The caster turns into a 700 lb grizzly bear. Gains the stats: Init +3; Atk 2x claws
melee +6 (1d10), bite melee +6 (1d14+2), AC 22; Hit Points +2HD; MV 30’ or swim 20’; Act 2d20; Caster
gains infravision 120’; Detect secret doors within 1d6 x 10’

32+ Artio treats you as one of her own. You gain the same as 30 above, plus Eviscerator.
