PROGRAMME SCOPE

i. Identifying the suitability of the area for recreational activities.

ii. Evaluate the area and recreational activities offered to obtain information to ensure
the success of recreational activities.

iii. Make a neat preparation of clothing and equipment for the participants participating
this program.

iv. Understand and be able to implement an emergency action plan in the event of an
unwanted incident.

v. Always comply with established outdoor recreation safety SOPs.

vi. Monitor and evaluate the implementation of the program continuously.

PROGRAM OBJECTIVE

i. First, to provide the HHT10904 lecturer and students with the opportunities to explore
the local attraction at the same time to support the local business.

ii. Next, to develop graduates with adequate tour guiding skills which might be useful in
future career. Besides, to allow the students to familiarize themselves in guiding
environment.

iii. Furthermore, to cultivate the skills of creating an itinerary, managing the tour and
carrying out the activities by implementing what they have learned in the classroom.

iv. Moreover, to develop a better communication skills among the organizers which may
boost the level of self-assurance. At the same time, to cultivate the skills of working in
team during the planning stage.

v. Finally, to foster a culture of excellence not only academically, but also in an

approach to co-curricular activities in order to produce innovative learning and
teaching systems.
