Description Handling/Precautions of use

SP FLOW ® 380 is a polycarboxylate ether-based
superplasticizer and high range water reducer designed for
use in concrete :
▪Increased initial and long-time workability, high flowability,
easier placement,
▪Improved concrete quality by high water reduction.
LCI recommends to add SP FLOW ® 380 in the concrete after
batching water, by means of an automatic dosing device.

▪Concrete placement Packaging, storage, preservation

SP FLOW ® 380 extends the transport/placement period of
the concrete and has a valuable plasticizing effect on
concrete which makes the placement easier on jobsite.
Dosage
▪Recommended range of dosage : 0.6 to 1.2 % by
weight of binder, equal to 0.57 up to 1.13 L/100 kg
of binder).
Trial tests should be carried out with the materials to be
used on site to find the dosage necessary to achieve the
required result.
Overdosing effects
Above the upper limit of dosage, SP FLOW ® 380 may
cause excessive air entrainment, concrete segregation and
set retardation.
▪Therefore LCI advises to avoid working at a dosage higher
than 1.2% by weight of binder without prior testing.

Store at a temperature between 0 and 35°C, out of direct sunlight.
If SP FLOW ® 380 freezes, thaw slowly and homogenize. Store
as stated up to 12 months in the original packaging.
