community. Explain its meaning and purpose.
Signage Meaning and Purpose
1. Stop sign alert drivers intersection and other areas
where traffic maybe traveling in opposite or
crossing direction.

2. A no smoking sign in a place is a notice to say that

smoking is for bidden in that place smoking is
allowed in areas that do not display a no smoking
sign there are no smoking sign in all the no
smoking rooms.
3. Do not enter means you must not proceed in the
direction of the sign, These sign are meant to
prevent head-on collisions as they usually indicate
opposing traffic that will be coming toward you.

4. Prohibiting all types of motor vehicles from

parking, The most common of no parking sign
meaning is to prohibit all types of vehicles as
prescribe by law.

5. Dead end signs are posted at the entrance of a road

or street to let the driver know the path they are on
ends in a dead end or cul-de-sac. Drivers who
encounter a dead end sign should be warned that
the street they are on will not connected through to
a different street.
