Harmony's actions from an ethical standpoint are questionable. While she may feel sad

for the people who will lose their jobs if the branches are closed, her decision to manipulate the

financial statements is not an honest or ethical one. If the company policy is to close branches

that fail to meet targets in two consecutive quarters, then Harmony is not doing the right thing by

trying to cover up the fact that two of the branches have not met their targets. Harmony's actions

could be seen as being motivated by a desire to protect the jobs of the people who work in the

two branches that are not meeting their targets. Her actions could ultimately have negative

consequences for the people she is trying to help, as the company may discover the manipulation

and take action against the employees of the two branches.

The consequence of Harmony overstating the sales revenue generated by the branches is

that it could lead to the bank making wrong decisions. For example, if the bank decides to give

bonuses to employees based on the inaccurate sales figures, then employees who did not actually

deserve bonuses would receive them, while those who deserved bonuses would not receive them.

This could lead to morale problems within the bank. She could be caught and disciplinary action

could be taken against her. For example, if an audit is conducted and it is discovered that

Harmony has been manipulating the sales figures, she could be fired from her job. In addition,

she could be subject to criminal charges if it is proven that she deliberately falsified the figures in

order to mislead the bank.

Harmony's actions could have serious consequences for the bank and the people who

work at the two branches that have not met their sales targets. If she is caught, she could be fired

from her job, and the bank could be sued. The two branches that have not met their sales targets

could be closed down, and the people who work at those branches could lose their jobs. I would

suggest to Harmony that she report the true sales figures to the bank, and try to help the two

branches that have not met their targets to improve their sales.
