not all business cases need the same level of assessment. depending on customer demand and value expectation, there are 3 different approaches from Exanovis. The first level is a simple test of the existing installation and WLAN setup. A survey of loss, delay, jitter etc. provides valuable information about voice quality and in particular can relate quality issues to specific network elements and user groups. The produced report shows all values, however, there is no detailed judgement from Exanovis experts. The second level of audit called certification compares the measurement results against referenced quality standards (ITU, IEEE or internal KPIs) and minimal requirements. The third assessment level is optimisation where the target is to optimise and improve a given installation. Starting from an audit of the current situation, Exanovis will propose the required changes in the configuration or network concept. Once these changes are implemented, another follow-up survey will investigate the overall improvements. In some cases, several optimisation loops are required before achieving good results.
