3. The Department of Education has decided to erect an extension facility on an available open
area inside the Baguio Teacher’s Camp. The project is a two-storey building extension that will
mainly serve as storage facility for the main administration office and other spaces. Site is corner
lot with ten meter (10m) wide roads at E and S sides of lot. The lot is rectangular and bounded
by the edges of the driveway at the S and open parking at the N. Road at E boundary slopes
down at 3% towards N and road at S boundary slopes at 0.0% towards W. A 6m wide x 60m
driveway alongside the S side of the lot from the gate entry at the SW corner sloping down
northward at 3% to a level open area for parking. Elevation at gate entry is at +469m above sea
level. At end of driveway is a 20m wide level open area for parking stretching to right of the
driveway up to the end of the building length. The building footprint is separated from driveway
by a landscape buffer (3m x 132sq.m) which includes retaining walls. The building footprint is
setback 36m from E boundary and 16m from the S boundary. A patio/ boundary bay (4m x 248
sq.m) lies adjacent to open parking area. Patio is higher by 100mm from open parking and
serves as staging area (receiving/dispatching) for loading/unloading to/from the storage area.
Floor level of two storage areas with total area of 120 sq.m. Is higher from the patio/loading

multipurpose area between the pantry and workshop area is an open terrace. Viewdeck is 4m x
72 sq.m. The 2nd floor above consists of common areas/hallways (same as ground floor), two
offices – a purchasing office (14m x 196 sq.m) located above the business center and an
engineering office (14m x 18m) above the multipurpose area. A balcony (4m x 18m) is adjacent
the engineering office.
