Hi, Mike!

I’m happy to write you this email, because I can’t wait to tell you about my new summer job. Three days
ago, I was accepted as tourist guide at Bran Castle, in Brasov County. I’m so pround of myself, because I
was looking for this job for 5 months.

Bran Castle is a castle in Bran, 25 km southwest of Brasov. It is a monument and landmark in Romania.
The fortress is on the Transylvanian side of the historical border with Wallachia on road DN73.
Commonly known outside Romania as Dracula`s Castle it is often referred to as the home of the title
character in Bram Stoker`s Dracula.

The Castle is now a museum dedicated to displaying art and furniture collected by Queen Marie.
Tourists can see the interior on their own or by a guided tour. I start the working days with awaking at 7
o’clock. I eat my breakfast, usually milk with cereal, and then I dress up and I go to Bran Castle, which is
3 km., far away from  my rent flat.

So far, I really enjoy talking to new people and explaining the history and legends behind this famous
castle. The best time is when children are speechless, when they hear the legends which I tell them.
They are very excited, also,  when they go through the secret passage, inside the castle. There are a few
moments that are very funny for them.
