babies were born on New Year’s Day in the Atrium Health network of hospitals in Charlotte and
surrounding counties, according to an Atrium news release on Sunday. The first baby was born at 12:09

first baby born in Mecklenburg County at Atrium Health Carolinas Medical Center, the release said.
Tyson was born at 2:30 a.m. to Amanda and Clint Bishop. He weighed 6 pounds, 8 ounces. Tyson Bishop

born at 12:33 a.m. to Rhiannon Gammack and Stephen Lukens at Piedmont Medical Center-Rock Hill, a
hospital spokesperson said. Ryett weighed 7 pounds, 10 ounces, and measured 20.75 inches. Ryett
