By: Ani Wilujeng Suryani, Ph.D
Workshops on scholarly research, writing,
and publishing can be especially useful to
the uninitiated because they offer advice that
a writer acquires only after years of
experience, turmoil, and frustration.

We asked two experts in the field of your research to evaluate your paper's suitability
for publication. Unfortunately, both of them recommend rejection. After reading
your paper and the reports more carefully, I am afraid I concur with their

{
recommendation and decide to log the paper as a rejection.

The review reports should be of help to you in understanding the details behind this
decision. I share with first reviewer's concern that the contribution of the paper
is narrow.

CONTRIBUTION

Unfortunately, both reviewers have deep reservations about your paper's potential for publication
in AJPT, and I share their reservations. Because I cannot foresee a realistic and reasonable path to
success, I regret to report that I am rejecting the paper. The reviewers' comments should be helpful

{
in understanding the details behind this decision.

Each referee has provided a detailed set of comments for your use in revising the paper. Both
reviewers raise similar concerns about the incremental contribution of the paper, i.e.,
there are numerous papers that link business risks to audit fees but your paper doesn't establish
why this is a special risk to be considered.
