Note: Candidate shall strictly adhere to the following rules

1. The duration of examination shall be of two Hours (02) for all exams but in the case of Surveyor duration of
examination shall be of three hours (03) and for Gas Testing(GT) duration of examination shall be of one hour (01).

2. Each correct answer shall carry full marks assigned to the question and each incorrect answer/ wrong answer shall
carry negative (1/4th) marks.

3. Candidate is required to report at the examination centre at the reporting time.

4. No candidate shall be permitted to attend the CBT once the CBT has commenced.

5. Before entering the CBT hall, every candidate shall leave all books, notes and paper etc. outside.

6. Every candidate shall be required to sign in a Register/Sheet in which his roll number/।D would be recorded.

7. Any candidates desiring to consult the examiner or invigilator or any other assistants requiring any assistance should
stand in his seat to draw attention but should not call out.

8. Any candidate speaking to any other candidate, or consulting any book or notes, or using paper other than that
supplied by the Board or using any other unfair means or acting in a manner considered improper by the examiner shall
be liable to be disqualified.

9. No candidate shall leave the examination hall before the expiry of one hour after the commencement of the
examination. The candidates appearing for Gas Testing (GT) examination shall not be allowed to leave the examination
hall before completion of exam duration.

10. When candidate has completed the answer to the questions or when the time allowed for answering the questions has
elapsed, or when a candidate has been disqualified under Clause No.8, he must at once leave the Examination Hall.

11. Electronic gadgets like mobiles phones, lap-tops etc. shall not be in possession of the candidates in the examination
hall.

12. Candidate has to carry his/her own water bottle not more than 500 ml.

13. There is no arrangement for safe keeping of mobile phones at the examination centre.

14. Final result will be subject to verification of original certificates, as applicable. The schedule for VERIFICATION OF
ORIGINAL DOCUMENTS shall be separately intimated to the OVERALL successful candidates through DGMS website
shortly after completion examination.

15. Candidates must bring their Admit Card, Photo ID card (Voter Card/Pan Card/ Aadhaar Card/ Driving
License/Passport) and a face mask with them.

16. On screen scientific calculator will be allowed to all Surveyor's candidates (No Physical calculator will be allowed).

17. If there is any doubt in understanding the meaning of questions in languages other than English (i.e Hindi, Bengali,
Oriya, Telugu & Tamil ), Candidates may refer to the English language and meaning in English will prevail over the other
language (i.e Hindi, Bengali, Oriya, Telugu & Tamil ).
