A BILL
To amend the Elementary and Secondary Education Act
of 1965 to ensure that local educational agencies apply-
ing for certain Federal education funds post the cur-
riculum for elementary and secondary schools online, and
for other purposes.

1 Be it enacted by the Senate and House of Representa-

2 tives of the United States of America in Congress assembled,
3 SECTION 1. SHORT TITLE.

4 This Act may be cited as the ‘‘Curriculum Review of

5 Teachings Transparency Act’’ or the ‘‘CRT Transparency
6 Act’’.

1 SEC. 2. STATE AND LOCAL EDUCATIONAL AGENCY PLANS.

2 (a) ASSURANCES FROM STATES.—Section

3 1111(g)(2) of the Elementary and Secondary Education
4 Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 6311(g)(2)) is amended—
5 (1) in subparagraph (M), by striking ‘‘and’’ and
6 the end;
7 (2) in subparagraph (N), by striking the period
8 at the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and
9 (3) by adding at the end the following:
10 ‘‘(O) the State will ensure that each local
11 educational agency in the State posts the cur-
12 riculum for each elementary school and sec-
13 ondary school grade level on a publicly acces-
14 sible website of the agency.’’.
15 (b) ASSURANCES FROM LOCAL EDUCATIONAL AGEN-
16 CIES.—Section 1112(c) of the Elementary and Secondary
17 Education Act of 1965 (20 U.S.C. 6312(c)) is amended—
18 (1) in paragraph (6), by striking ‘‘and’’ at the
19 end;
20 (2) in paragraph (7), by striking the period at
21 the end and inserting ‘‘; and’’; and
22 (3) by adding at the end the following:
23 ‘‘(8) post the curriculum for each elementary
24 school and secondary school grade level on a publicly
25 accessible website of the agency.’’.
