Department of ustice 950 Pennsylvania Avenue ‘Washington, D¢ 20530-0001, General Garland, "hope you and your family enjoyed a wonderful holiday season and are prepared fora Prosperous New Year. ‘The purpose of my letters to ask the United States Department of Justice to review the actions ‘of the South Carolina Republican Party, Gob Jones University, South Carolina Superintendent of Education Elen Weaver, and the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools Commission on Colleges. Specifically, these organizations conspired to commit fraud and circumvent South Carolina law. Te conspiracy to commit fraud is evidenced by the certification ofa candidate not legally {qualified to hold office under South Carclina Law and the creation of a master's program not offered to any ther individual, thus completing the conspiracy to cireurwent state law. The probability that an individual can comply with South Carolina law by enrolling, satitying the requirements, and receiving a post-baccalaureate degree in as few as eght months is. {questionable at best. Elections matter and should be above and beyond reproach. Therefore, you must review these circumstances as quickly as possible. The certification of candidates understate law should be the same for every person, and the master's degree program created for Elen Weaver should be available toall students appreciate your consideration.
